    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Summit Sight and Sound website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

    2. Services

    Summit Sight and Sound provides home technology integration services including, but not limited to, audio/video systems, home automation, lighting control, networking, security, and surveillance. All services are subject to availability and may vary by location.

    3. Quotes & Proposals

    • All quotes and proposals are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
    • Pricing is subject to change based on material costs, scope modifications, or unforeseen site conditions.
    • A signed proposal constitutes acceptance of the scope of work and associated costs.
    • Change orders for work outside the original scope will be documented and require client approval before proceeding.

    4. Payment Terms

    • A deposit is required prior to the commencement of work, as specified in your proposal.
    • Progress payments may be required at predetermined milestones throughout the project.
    • Final payment is due upon substantial completion of the project.
    • Late payments may be subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month on outstanding balances.

    5. Warranty

    Summit Sight and Sound provides a one-year labor warranty on all installed systems from the date of project completion. Manufacturer warranties on equipment and products are passed through to the client and vary by product. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications.

    6. Service Calls

    Post-warranty service calls are billed at our standard hourly rates. Emergency and after-hours service calls may be subject to additional charges. Service call rates and response times are outlined in your service agreement.

    7. Client Responsibilities

    • Provide safe and reasonable access to the work site during scheduled installation times.
    • Ensure that electrical, network, and structural prerequisites are in place as specified.
    • Communicate any changes to project scope or timeline in a timely manner.
    • Safeguard login credentials and access codes provided for system management.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Summit Sight and Sound and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written consent.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    Summit Sight and Sound shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services, including but not limited to loss of data, system downtime, or interruption of service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific services giving rise to the claim.

    10. Governing Law

    These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Summit County, Utah.

    11. Changes to Terms

    We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
